The cost for you is only $12/year (or save at $50 for 5 years) and we will renew and maintain your domain name for you.
We'll put your name on the domain name to ensure your ownership of the domain name. Of course, you may purchase and maintain a domain name and manage its renewal yourself if you'd like.
